Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are understood to be in pole position to sign Metz midfielder Amadi Wassim.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, the Istanbul giants are in talks with the 18-year-old who is also being targeted by Benfica.
Per the source, Wassim is expected to leave the Ligue 2 club this summer after failing to put pen-to-paper on a new deal with Metz. Wassim is yet to make a senior appearance for his club.
Galatasaray previously signed Franck Ribery from Metz for €5 million back in 2005 however, the star winger ended up leaving the Lions for free just six months later.
