Galatasaray want to keep hold of Malaga target Nordin Amrabat according to club board member Abdurrahim Albayrak.
“Amrabat as you all know is on loan at Malaga,” Albayrak said.
“However, we all want to see him return to Galatasaray and have plans for him next season.”
Malaga however, are preparing a bid for Amrabat according to general manager Vicente Casado.
“To sign Amrabat we will firstly have to sell a player,” Cassado said.
“We are open to offers for some of our players, Amrabat is a player we have been trying to sign since last seas.
“We have traveled to Istanbul five times to try and sign him and will try again in January.
“However, it is tough negotiating with the Turks.
“We want Amrabat to stay here.”
The Moroccan international has been in impressive form for Malaga and was recently included Marca’s La Liga team of the month.
Amrabat joined Galatasaray from Kayserispor in July 2012 for €8.6 million and still has three-years remaining on his contract.
The 27-year-old winger has three assists and three goals in his last four league games.
