Hakan Çalhanoğlu shows Terim what he’s missing out on [divider]
Hakan Çalhanoğlu has posted a video of himself scoring a free-kick during a Leverkusen training session.
The 20-year-old playmaker posted the video along with the comment, “:Video Analyse / Freistoß #freekick #training #2part:”
The 20-year-old has scored 15 direct free kick goals over the the last two seasons.
Çalhanoğlu recently revealed that he is disappointed at not being called up to the Turkish national team by Fatih Terim.
Terim did not call up the 20-year-old playmaker to the 23-man squad ahead of the games against Brazil and Kazakhstan.
“I was waiting to be called up, I am in form and I am not injured,” Çalhanoğlu was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
“I am really disappointed with this decision, I cannot understand why this has happened and what will happen after.”
Çalhanoğlu has made six assists and scored five goals in 19 appearances for Leverkusen this season.
