Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu revealed that he was pleased with reaching the Turkish Cup semi-final but not thrilled with his sides performance.
The Lions drew 1-1 against Manisaspor at the 19 Mayıs stadium but qualified 5-1 on aggregate after winning the first-leg 4-0.
“We got the job done, it was not a great performance but we are in the semi-final now,” Hamzaoğlu was quoted as saying on Eurosport TR.

Hamzaoğlu also underlined that the match proved a good test for Felipe Melo and Semih Kaya who had both been ruled out with lengthy injuries.
“It was great to have Melo and Semih Kaya return, they needed a game like this to work on their match fitness,” he added.
Melo was expected to be out until the end of the season following his hernia operation but he has recovered sooner than was predicted.
Galatasaray are on course for the double, the Lions are currently first in the Süper Lig and in the semi-final of the Turkish Cup.
