“He’s better than Zidane” – Arsenal react on social media to star playmaker
Germany international playmaker Mesut Ozil was the star of the show for Arsenal over the weekend.
The Gunners recorded a 5-2 victory over Everton on Sunday to move up into fifth spot.
Ozil scored his sides second goal and provided the assist for Arsenal’s third. The 29-year-old picked up the man of the match award after the final whistle.
Gunners fans have spent much of this season criticising Ozil for his performances however, they were waxing lyrical about the Germany international after Sunday’s result.

Ozil could yet be on his way out of Arsenal next summer. The 29-year-old has under nine months remaining on his current contract with the north London based club.
The Gunners take on Norwich FC on Tuesday in the League Cup before hosting Swansea City at the Emirates stadium this weekend.
