Italian giants Inter Milan have sent scouts to keep tabs on Beşiktaş midfielder Oğuzhan Özyakup according to Hürriyet.
The Turkish international star who is valued at €12 million has also been closely linked with Arsenal over recent weeks and the Gunners are also reported to be scouting their former academy player.
Inter boss Roberto Mancini is of course familiar with Özyakup from his time coaching in Turkey as manager of Istanbul rivals Galatasaray.
Mancini has already brought two Turkish Super League players to Italy in Felipe Melo as well as Alex Telles and has been keeping close tabs on the league since being appointed as Inter boss.
Özyakup is currently on international duty and likely to feature against Qatar today in the pre Euro 2016 warm up friendly.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for club and country. Özyakup has three goals and six assists in all competitions for the Black Eagles including last weekenders fantastic winner against Bursaspor to take Beşiktaş back into first place.
The former Arsenal man also played an important role in Turkey qualifying for Euro 2016 against all the odds when he opened the scoring in the 3-0 victory over the Netherlands. The Crescent-Stars went onto win their last three games against the Dutch, Iceland and the Czech Republic to book a place in the summer tournament.
