Kasımpaşa were just a minute away from the 1-0 win over Rizespor but a penalty in the sixth minute of additional time resulted in a 1-1 draw.
On-loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo started the Kasımpaşa but his game was cut short after just nine minutes after picking up an injury.
Scarione game Kasımpaşa the lead on 36 minutes and the Istanbul minnows were put in an even more advantageous position after Viera was sent off for Rizespor.
Kasımpaşa looked to have bagged all three points and kept their fourth clean sheet of the season when Altınay was also sent off for the away side.
However, Rizespor striker Kweuke was able to deceive the referee into believing he was brought down when he dived just outside the six-yard box in the fifth minute of additional time.
The Congo international levelled the scores just before the half-time whistle to rescue a point. Despite conceding late on Kasımpaşa still have the best defensive record in the league having conceded just three times all season.
