Leicester City Striker Says ‘Yes’ To Galatasaray Move, Talks Ongoing Between Clubs

Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa is nearing a move to Galatasaray according to reports in Turkey.

Turkish newspaper Milliyet report that the Nigeria international has said ‘yes’ to the Super Lig champions.

Per the source, Musa wants to make the move to Turkey next season.

The powerful striker reportedly instructed his agent to tell Galatasaray he will complete the move if they strike a deal with Leicester.

Turkish-Football reported yesterday that the Lions had Musa has been made a transfer priority.

Talks between Galatasaray and the Foxes are ongoing over a loan move.

Musa added further fuel to the transfer speculation linking him with the Istanbul based outfit after sparked liking several messages from Galatasaray fans urging him to join the team.

Musa struggled to settle in at Leicester City after joining on a £16m [BBC] move in 2016.

The striker scored just four goals in 32 appearances for the Foxes in his first season and was loaned to CSKA Moscow in January.

The 25-year-old is currently on international duty with Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Galatasaray would be able to offer the striker first-team and Champions League football next season.
