Turkish-Football recently revealed that Fenerbahce are in talks with Chelsea over the transfer of van Ginkel. The Istanbul giants are hoping to sign the Netherlands international on a loan deal with an option to buy included.

Fenerbahce are on the lookout for a new attacking midfielder this summer after offloading star playmaker Diego Ribas last year.

Van Ginkel made the move to Chelsea from Vitesse back in 2013. However, the Dutch midfielder has hardly featured for the London based club and has spent the majority of his time out on loan.

The 24-year-old is currently out on loan at the Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven.
