Liverpool will face Beşiktaş at the Atatürk Olympic stadium in Istanbul for the second-leg of their Europa League Round of 32 game.
The Reds won the 2004-05 Champions League title in the same stadium.
Liverpool’s memorable final, saw the Reds beat AC Milan on penalties after coming back from 3-0 at the interval to force extra time.
Beşiktaş are without a stadium this season as the club is expanding the old İnonü stadium into a 41,903 seater arena.
The Black Eagles have played at the Olympic stadium, Başakşehir stadium as well as Ankara and Konya for their home games this season.
Beşiktaş press officer Metin Albayrak told reporters after the Europa League draw that the return leg in Istanbul will be memorable for both sides.
“The Olympic stadium is a very important stadium for Liverpool, they won a historic Champions League title there so it will be a special game for both sides,” Albayrak said.
