Roma wonderkid Cengiz Under has revealed that it is an honour to be the replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Under waxed lyrical about the Egypt international calling him ‘without question’ the best player this season.
The 20-year-old said: “Without question Mohamed Salah was the best player this season, he is an incredible player and the fact Roma brought me in as his replacement is a huge honor. I love watching him play.”
The Turkey international was snapped up on a £13 million move from Basaksehir last summer following Liverpool signing Salah.
After struggling to settle in, Under broke into the first-team in February going onto score nine times and provide two assists.

In a season of milestones, the rising star scored his first Serie A and Champions League goals.
Under scored his first goal in the competition against Shakhtar, it ended up taking Roma through on away goals.
The rising star also setup Manolas with the away goal that took Roma through to the semi-finals, knocking out Barcelona along the way.
Salah and Under faced each other in the semi-finals with the Egypt international coming out on top scoring twice and providing two assists in the 5-2 victory at Anfield in the first leg.
