Manchester United will not block Rafael’s move to Galatasaray

As reported previously by Turkish-football.com, Manchester United have left Rafael da Silva out of their tour of the USA.

The Red Devils’ released a statement on their official website with a list of the players who will be included in the trip. The 25-year-old full back’s omission confirms reports that he is close to a move away from Old Trafford.

Talksport’s Warren Haughton claims that Galatasaray could face competition from Napoli as well as Fiorentina who are interested in the 22-year-old right-back.

“Napoli, Galatasaray, Fiorentina all in for him and there were no specific denials form United from people I spoke to so it does look like he will be leaving,” told Talksport.

Galatasaray have made strengthening at right-back a priority over the summer transfer window after Tarık Çamdal failed to settle in last season.

Rafael provided one assist and scored on goal in 17 appearances for Manchester United last season.
