Man Utd's Rafael to leave this summer confirms agent

Manchester United right back Rafael da Silva is keen on a move away from Old Trafford according to his agent Cassiano Pereira.

As reported previously by Turkish-football.com, Manchester United have left Rafael da Silva out of their tour of the USA.

The Red Devils’ released a statement on their official website with a list of the players who will be included in the trip. The 25-year-old full back’s omission confirms reports that he is close to a move away from Old Trafford.

“His contract expires in June 2016 and the coach, Van Gaal, said he isn’t counting on him, so the player wants to leave and we are talking with more than one club about this,” Pereira told Italian website Tuttomercatoweb.

The Brazil international has been placed on the transfer-list by United following the acquisition of Matteo Darmian from Torino.

Rafael provided one assist and scored on goal in 17 appearances for Manchester United last season.

Galatasaray won the league title for a record 20th time last season and booked a place in next seasons Champions League group stages.
