Ilkay Gündoğan played the full 90 minutes in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-2 victory over Werder Bremen today in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund were ahead after 15 minutes following Shinji Kagawa’s goal which was assisted by Gündoğan. The home side doubled their lead two minutes later via Aubameyang.
Levin Oztunali struck back for the visitors in the 26th minute but Dortmund restored the lead to two goals when Mkhitaryan scored shortly before half time.
Gebre Selassie scored the games final goal in the 85th minute to make it 3-2.
Gündoğan received a rating of 8.21 from whoscored.com for his performance during the game.
The 24-year-old made 115 passes throughout the game and maintained a passing accuracy of 87%. Gündoğan made three tackles, two interceptions and no clearances.
Dortmund remain in seventh place following todays victory with 46 points in 34 games.
Manchester United have been closely linked with Gündoğan over the past month but are expected to face stiff competition from Arsenal and Barcelona for the 24-year-old’s signature.
