Newcastle United have received a transfer boost in their pursuit of Galatasaray winger Garry Rodrigues after the reigning Super Lig champions transfer listed the player according to the Hurriyet newspaper.
Per the source, the Lions are prepared to sell Rodrigues to one of Newcastle United, Valencia or Villarreal in January.
Newcastle were closely linked with the Cape Verde international over the summer but a transfer never did materialize.
The Champions League star has three goals in nine appearances for the Lions in all competitions this season.
Rodrigues is one of the most in-form Galatasaray players but the club are under pressure from Financial Fair Play (FFP) and will not be able to make transfers in January unless they sell players.
Rodrigues is one of the most sought-after players in the current squad and while the Lions would prefer to keep him on they may be forced to sell over the winter transfer window.
