Lazar Markovic scored the winning goal in Fenerbahce’s 1-0 victory over Tuzlaspor in the Turkish Cup.
The Serbian international is currently on a season-long loan at Fenerbahce. Markovic was left out of Vitor Pereira’s starting line-up but came off the bench in the 64th minute.
The 21-year-old scored his sides only goal in the league cup to give them a five point lead at the top of the table.
Fenerbahçe meanwhile want to extend Lazar Markovic’s loan deal by another season according to Mynet.
Markovic joined Liverpool in 2014 from Portuguese giants Benfica after being tipped as one of the hottest properties in European football but struggled to settle in under Rodgers.
The Serbian international has two assists and one goal for the Yellow Canaries this season.
Fenerbahce take on Rizespor this weekend in the Turkish Super Lig. The Yellow Canaries are currently top of the table having played an extra game over rivals Besiktas.
