Photo: Chelsea defender tells Nigerian media to get their ‘facts right’ & ‘stop worrying’ his family before receiving first direct red card
Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo had quite an eventful week on loan at Alanyaspor.
Omeruo was involved in a bizarre Instagram rant a few days ago which involved him sharing a picture training while complaining about the Nigerian press in his caption.
The 22-year-old defender told the Nigerian media to get their ‘facts right’ about the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) banning him.

Omeruo was not banned by the TFF and to be honest we are not quite sure what he is referring to.
It does seem that the reason for his outburst was his family getting worried.
The only articles we could find in the Nigerian media were that Omeruo would face a one-match suspension if he picked up another yellow card.
In an ironic twist Omeruo is now suspended by the TFF and he really has nobody to blame but himself.
Omeruo was shown a direct red card for the first time in his career after being sent off against Kayserispor.
