Eskisehirspor’s Nigerian international midfielder Raheem Lawal has revealed his joy at scoring the winning goal on Sunday.
The 24-year-old scored Eskisehirspor’s second goal in a 2-1 victory over Erciyesspor.
Lawal spoke to africanfootball.com after the game and said, “I am so happy to score the goal that gave us victory in the game.
The visiting team almost got a point, but I came on and the story changed. It was a thrilling experience for me.”
Lawal joined Eskisehirspor from Mersin Idmanyurdu in February for €1 million.
The central midfielder has made one assist and scored two goals in 11 appearances for EsEs.
Lawal has made four international appearances for Nigeria.
Eskisehirspor have risen out of the relegation zone up into 13. spot following their victory at home.
