Pape Ndiaye rejected West Ham, Newcastle & Everton in order to join “big club”
Senegal international midfielder Pape Ndiaye has revealed that he had several offers on the table before joining Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal with the Lions last month. Galatasaray paid Osmanlispor €7.5 million for the midfielder.
Ndiaye has claimed that he had offers from West Ham, Everton and Newcastle United.

“I had offers from England, particularly Everton, West Ham and Newcastle United, but when I received Galatasaray’s offer, I told my agent to go for it,” N’diaye told the Senegalese outlet Jour de Sport.
“When I came to Osmanlispor two years ago, the goal was to join a big club.
“I think that’s what I’ve done by moving to Galatasaray. I’ve joined the biggest club in Turkey. I’m going to help the team move forward regardless of where I play on the pitch”.
Osmanlispor made a huge profit from the sale of N’Diaye this summer. The Ankara based club signed the Senegal international from the Norwegian side Glimt for just €350,000 back in 2015.
Galatasaray have had a busy transfer window. The Istanbul giants have already brought in Mariano, Maicon, Fernando, Belhanda and Gomis.
N’diaye has spent two seasons in the Super League and has scored 17 goals in 59 appearances for Osmanlispor.
