Süper Lig Manager Count Rises to 40 in 2014 [divider]
The Süper Lig has seen a grand total of 40 managerial appointments in 2014.
Managers in the Süper Lig last an average of seven months, 14 clubs have changed managers in 2014.
There are a few exceptions, Kasımpaşa manager Shota Arveladze has been in charge since 2012.
Beşiktaş boss Slaven Bilic, Eskişehirspor manager Ertuğrul Sağlam and Karabükspor head coach Tolunay Kafkas have also managed to make it through 2014 unscathed.
Bursaspor manager Şenol Güneş has been in charge for seven months making him currently the fifth longest standing coach in the league.
Rizespor manager Rıza Çalımbay, Gaziantepspor boss Okan Buruk, Akhisar coach Mustafa Reşit Akçay, Başakşehir head boach Abdullah Avcı and Fenerbahçe boss İsmail Kartal were all appointed at the start of the season.
Süper Lig giants Galatasaray replaced Roberto Mancini with Cesare Prandelli this summer. The Lions later brought in Hamza Hamzaoğlu to take over in place of the former Italian national team coach.
The record holders for most managerial changes however, goes to Trabzonspor and Gençlerbirliği.
Trabzonspor have been coached by Mustafa Akçay, Hami Mandıralı, Vahid Halilhodzic and current manager Ersun Yanal in 2014.
Gençlerbirliği have been managed by Mehmet Özdilek, Kemal Özdeş, Mustafa Kaplan and current boss Irfan Buz in 2014.
