Valdes’ public spat with Louis van Gaal pretty much ruled out any future for the former Barcelona man at the club. The Spanish international has already had an offer from recently promoted Antalyaspor turned down. It may sound strange that a club like Antalyaspor would even try to sign the experienced keeper but it is worth pointing out they also signed Samuel Eto’o and as the saying goes; money speaks. Beşiktaş could also do with a goalkeeper considering their first choice and second choice keepers spent key parts of the season out injured but the financially troubled club may struggle to match Valdes’ wages.
