Gündoğan has what it takes to adapt quickly to the high pressing game which Arsenal play, due to his time under Jurgen Klopp. He made an average of 2.3 tackles and 2.3 interceptions per-game game in the 2012-13 season (before his injury), which are stats on par with Ramsey and above Flamini, Arteta and Wilshere.
The combative playmaker would undoubtedly add something extra to Arsenal’s attacking game but could also help shore up their problematic defence.
