Fenerbahce beat Kayserispor 1-0 at the Kadir Has stadium thanks to a stunning free-kick goal from Robin van Persie.
The Dutch star started for the Yellow Canaries and it took him just half an hour to make all the difference.
The former Manchester United striker curled the ball around the keeper giving Kayacan Erdogan no chance from his free-kick effort.
Van Persie now has five goals and an assist in all competitions for the Istanbul giants.
The win took Fenerbahce into second place on goal difference behind leaders Galatasaray however, Besiktas could move into first position with a victory over Rizespor today.
