Can was in the right place at the right time to knock the ball into the back of the net.
Liverpool drew their opening game 0-0 in Klopp’s first Premier League match on the weekend and Emre Can started in midfield.
Can was played in his preferred midfield role as opposed to spending most of last season as a defender under former head coach Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers was sacked by Liverpool before the international break following the 1-1 draw against Everton in the Merseyside derby and replaced by Klopp shortly after.
