West Ham have joined the race for Beşiktaş midfielder Oğuzhan Özyakup according to Fanatik.
The report claims that the Hammers have joined an ever growing number of clubs keeping close tabs on the Turkish international.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is of course more familiar than most with the 22-year-old having coached him for two-years during his time at Beşiktaş.
Bilic maintains close ties with Özyakup but could face competition from another club that knows the midfielder all too well.
Arsenal have shown an interest in their former rising star according to Talksport and Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik report that the Gunners have been keeping close tabs on the their former youth player.
The Turkish international played a major role in Arsenal’s Under-18s side that won the Premier Academy League title in 2009 and made a few appearances in cup competitions for the Gunners before joining Beşiktaş in 2012 for a fee of €500,000.
Beşiktaş value the Turkish international midfielder as being worth £15 million.
