The severity of his latest injury is unknown, the Turkish international pull a leg muscle during training and will undergo scans.

Egemen played an important role in the Fenerbahçe side that won the Süper Lig title last season and was also part of the side that reached the UEFA Europa League semi-final in 2013.

Korkmaz has previously also played for rivals Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor.

The experienced defender has only made eight appearances for the Yellow Canaries this season due to being ruled out with injury.

The Turkish international had started Fenerbahçe’s last six league games.

The Yellow Canaries could move into first place in the Süper Lig with a win against Gaziantepspor if Beşiktaş draw or lose against Bursaspor.
