Everton plan surprise swoop for Goran Pandev
Everton are the latest team to be linked with Galatasaray’s out of favour striker Goran Pandev.
According to TalkSport, Everton manager Roberto Martinez is planning a January swoop for the 31-year-old.
Martinez sees Pandev’s experience, particularly in European competition as an attribute that would boost his squad in the Europa League.
The 31-year-old will be able to enter direct talks with other clubs this January with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
The former Champions League winner has also been linked with Torino, Fiorentina and Lazio.
The Macedonian international joined Galatasaray from Napoli this summer on a one-year deal worth €2.4 million.
Pandev has four goals and one assist in eight appearances in all competitions this season.
