Fenerbahce are interested in Mircea Lucescu, confirms agent

Mircea Lucescu’s agent Arcadie Zaporojanu has confirmed that Fenerbahce are interested in his client according to Eurosport TR.
The former Besiktas and Galatasaray manager was linked with the Fenerbahce job by the Romanian newspaper National. The report stated that Fenerbahce are prepared to offer the experinced manager a €5 million per season deal.
“Lucescu is yet to decide whether he will leave the Ukraine,” Zaporojanu told Eurosport TR.
“We have not received an official offer yet however, Fenerbahce have expressed an interest in Lucescu.”

Lucescu currently manages Shakhtar Donetsk but is under pressure following a heady 7-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League. Shakhtar also find themselves seven points behind their rivals Dinamo Kiev in the Ukrainian league.
Fenerbahce are currently in their place in the Turkish Super Lig with 53 points in 25 games. The Yellow Canaries defeated both Galatasaray and Besiktas in the bast month.
