Karabükspor's injury crisis continues ahead of Besiktas clash

Karabükspor’s injury crisis has shown no signs of easing ahead of their clash with Besiktas in the Turkish Super League.

Ahmet İlhan Özek, Murat Akça, Erkan Kaş, İbrahim Serdar Aydın, Samba Sow and Aykut Özer all missed first team training this week due to injuries.

Yiğit İncedemir took time out to speak with local reporters after training.

“We have been playing well at home this season. A few of our players have recovered this week from injury,” İncedemir said.

“We want to build upon our good performance last weekend and pick up all three points against Besiktas.”

Karabukspor currently find themselves in 17. spot in the league with just eight points from 10 games.

Tolunay Kafkas’s side have won two of their five home games this season.
