Trabzonspor’s Oscar Cardozo blowing cold away from home

Trabzonspor’s Oscar Cardozo has been unable to replicate his goalscoring form at the Hüseyin Avni Aker stadium, away from home.

The Paraguayan international has scored 13 of this 15 goals in all competitions at home while only finding the back of the net twice on the road.

Cardozo scored his two goals away from home against İstanbul Başakşehir and Balıkerispor.

The Paraguayan international joined Trabzonspor from Benfica on a €5 million move this summer on a three-year deal.

The powerful striker moved to Benfica from Newell’s Old Boys back in 2007 for a fee of €9.1 million.

Cardozo scored 172 goals in 293 appearances for the Portuguese giants.

The 31-year-old won the Portuguese Cup, five Portuguese League Cups and two league titles during his time at the Estadio da Luz.

The powerful striker has scored 15 goals in 28 appearances for the Black Sea Storm this season.
