Aston Villa transfer news: Euro giants plot move for £8m Jordan Amavi who made 36 appearances last season

Galatasaray have joined the race to sign Aston Villa star left-back Jordan Amavi.

The Lions are on the lookout for a new left-back following a string of disappointing performances from their current first-choice Lionel Carole.

Furthermore, Galatasaray currently don’t have back-up left back in their squad.

Turkish outlet Fotospor stated that the Lions have set their sights on Amavi.

Per the source, the French star is one of several options on Galatasaray’s transfer shortlist.

Meanwhile, L’Equipe has reported that Marseille are already in talks with Villa for Amavi. The Ligue 1 giants are planning to sign the 23-year-old on a season-long loan deal.

The report also states that Nice are also interested in signing the talented full-back.
