Trabzonspor join the race for Arsenal target Tolgay Arslan
“I spoke with Gökhan many times on the phone, he convinced me to join, I just want to prove myself and get into the team now,” Arslan told Eurosport TR.
Töre was involved in an altercation with Turkish international teammates Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Ömer Toprak last year.
A friend of Töre pulled a gun on Çalhanoğlu and his Bayer Leverkusen teammate Toprak.
Töre has since apologised for his actions but the trio have yet to play together or even feature in the same Turkish national team squad.
Arslan joined the Black Eagles on a 3.5 year move from HSV.
The Germany born midfielder will be available for the Black Eagles clash with Mersin İdmanyurdu on Sunday.
Arslan had two assists in 15 appearances in all competitions for HSV this season.
