“Huge mistake” – West Ham fans regret selling Sofiane Feghouli after stunning Galatasaray goal
Algeria international and former West Ham United star Sofiane Feghouli has hit the ground running at his new club.
Feghouli made the move to Galatasaray from West Ham for just £3.9 million over the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old scored a stunning goal during Galatasaray’s 2-1 comeback win over Bursaspor in the Turkish Super League.
Feghouli scored a perfectly placed curling shot from outside the area to level the score on Sunday.
The goal sent shock waves across social media and left West Ham United fans wondering why their club let the star midfielder go.

Feghouli scored tonight for @GalatasaraySK . Anyone wish he still played for West Ham?

Huge mistake selling Feghouli. Would've had an awesome impact off of the bench against Tottenham.

Personally thought he was a player that was getting better with every game he played for us

I think feghouli deserved another season, he started getting into form towards the end of last season.. would've been an asset

It's not even the selling him that really grates. It's the fact we seemingly made no effort to buy a replacement.

Feghouli spent just one season with West Ham United after arriving at the club during the summer of 2016. The Algeria international winger scored three goals in 21 Premier League appearances.
However, Feghouli was unable to secure a regular starting place in Slaven Bilic’s starting eleven.
West Ham United take on Swansea City in the Premier League this weekend. Galatasaray meanwhile take on Karabukspor.
