Ajax sporting director Edwin van der Sar believes that his side are capable of beating Fenerbahçe in Istanbul.
The Dutch giants take on Fenerbahçe in the Europa League at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium going into Match Day 3 tonight.
Van der Sar stated that the Yellow Canaries have a great home record but that Ajax have nothing to fear and that his side will be playing for the win.
The former Manchester United goalkeeper told Fanatik: “Everyone in Europe knows how tough Fenerbahçe are at home but we are here for the win and know we are more than capable of getting all three points.”
Fenerbahçe lost their opening group stage game at home 4-1 against Molde and will not be hoping for a repeat performance.
Dutch star Robin van Persie is expected to start against Ajax and already has five goals in all competitions this season.
The Yellow Canaries are currently last in Group A just one point behind Ajax who have two points after drawing both of their games against Celtic and Molde.
Scottish giants Celtic who are also on two points take on group leaders Molde in the other match in Group A tonight.
