Arsenal star Mesut Ozil took to Instagram to pose with fellow Premier League star players of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan and Cenk Tosun.
The trio sat in a room dressed impeccably and Ozil captioned the photograph as ‘The (Premier) League of Extraordinary Gentlemen’.
Ozil, Tosun and Gundogan were all born in Germany but are of Turkish origin, the Arsenal playmaker reflected this with the flags representing both countries in his caption.
There are actually four players that are ethnic Turks in the league – well five if you count Crystal Palace midfielder Erdal Rakip.
The other Premier League star whose family come from Turkey is Liverpool midfielder Emre Can did not feature which I found rather interesting, perhaps they are not as close? or maybe he is just busy recovering from his injury.
Anyway let’s take a moment to admire Gundogan’s moustache.
