Trabzonspor manager Halil Halilhodzic – ‘Some of our player just don’t get it yet’ [divider]
Trabzonspor manager Vahid Halilhodzic has questioned the intelligence of some of his players who have been struggling to adapt to his tactical changes.
“We are making efforts to improve our game and build-up play, but some of our players just don’t get it yet,” Halilhodzic was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website.
“Perhaps I should teach each player his exact role on the pitch one by one, however, I believe the worst is behind us but still we are far from perfect. The team needs time.
“There needs to be harmony among the players and they must know each others strengths.
“We’re still having some issues with a lack of patience in the final third which is causing problems in regards to scoring goals.”
Trabzonspor are currently second in Europa League Group L after thee matches with six points.
The Black Sea Storm beat Metalist Kharkiv and Lokeren but lost to Legia Warszawa.
Trabzonspor will secure a place in the Round of 32 with a victory against Lokeren on Thursday 6 November 2014.
