Kafkas actually resigned following his sides 2-1 loss against Erciyesspor but was later re-appointed by the board.
The 46-year-old coach would have became the first manager to resign from his position in 2015 if had left the club.
Beşiktaş head coach Slaven Bilic, Kasımpaşa boss Shota Arveladze and Bursaspor head coach Şenol Güneş are the only managers to have been in a job for seven months or longer.
