Tottenham have stepped up their interest in the Mainz attacking midfielder Yunus Malli.
The German newspaper Kicker states that Spurs are plotting a summer bid for the 23-year-old.
Kicker also stats that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking to strenghen ahead of next season with Malli being one of many targets being considered.
The report goes onto say that Valencia and Borussia Dortmund are interested in the Turkish international.
Malli has been in impressive form this season with ten goals, and three assist in 28 appearances. Malli played for the Germany U21 side as a youth but has decided to switch allegiances and represent the country of his parents.
The 23-year-old is expected to be called up to the Turkish national team for the European Championships in France over the summer.
Tottenham take on Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League tonight then host Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend.
