Beşiktaş beat Sivasspor 2-0 at the Fatih Terim stadium thanks to goals from Mario Gomez and Oğuzhan Özyakup.
The former Arsenal midfielder scored in the last minute to wrap up all three points in what was arguably the best attacking move in the game.
Arsenal have also shown an interest in re-signing their former youngster as they continue efforts to sing a deep-lying midfielder according to Talksport.
Three-years on since leaving the north London based club in search of regular first team football Özyakup has established himself as a star in the Beşiktaş team and has four goals and six assists for the Black Eagles this season.
