Fernandao is currently first with 18 goals, Ba is second with 17 and Yılmaz is third with 16.
Trabzonspor forward Oscar Cardozo trails narrowly behind with 15 goals.
Ba scored a career record high for league goals scored in a single season following his goal against Trabzonspor on the weekend.
The Senegalese international is the highest goalscorer overall in the league hitting the back of the net a total of 25 times and providing seven assists.
Yılmaz has finished goal king twice in the league however, Ba, Fernandao and Cardozo all joined in the summer.
