Slaven Bilic denies Celtic link [divider]
Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic has denied that he will be taking over Celtic in an interview with HaberTürk.
Bilic had been linked with taking over as manager of Celtic in the Turkish press.
“All I am interested in is winning silverware at Beşiktaş, the rumours that I will be taking over at Celtic or moving to England are false,” Bilic said.
Bilic has hinted in the past that he would like to manage Celtic one day.
“To manage one of the Old Firm would be a big honour and a big responsibility. It means a lot to so many people there,” Bilic told the Daily Record.
The Croatian coach has also been flirting with the idea of coaching in the Premier League.
Bilic has however, underlined that he is happy at Beşiktaş and dedicated to bringing the club success on the field.
Beşiktaş take on Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 first-leg at Anfield on Thursday 19 February.
The Black Eagles are currently 1st in the Süper Lig on 47 points after 20 games this season.
