Besiktas made Champions League history yesterday becoming the first Turkish side to finish the group stage as leaders.

The Black Eagles held Porto to a 1-1 draw at the Vodafone Park Stadium in Istanbul.

Porto took the lead in the first half but Anderson Talisca equalised soon after.

Credit has to be given to Cenk Tosun who was goals architect.

The Turkish international star was involved in the buildup to the attacking move before pulling off a sombero flick over his marker and driving into the opposition penalty laying the ball off to Talisca for a simple tap in.

Tosun has now directly been involved in six goals this campaign – four goals and two assists.

A source close to Besiktas revealed that Newcastle sent scouts to keep tabs on Tosun against the Portuguese giants.

Haberturk meanwhile recently reported that Tottenham are also interested in the 26-year-old forward and that they have held talks with his dad – who represents him.
