Trabzonspor have released a statement confirming that Jose Bosingwa has been ruled out with injury for six months.
The statement read: “Boswinga sustained an injury on 31 minutes against Bursaspor, scans after the game revealed that he will be out for a minimum of six months and will be operated on.”

Boswinga suffered a knee injury and will have to undergo surgery and rehabilitation.
Trabzonspor beat Bursaspor 1-0 at the Hüseyin Avni Aker to close the gap with fourth placed Başakşehir to just one point.
The Portuguese international has been one of Trabzonspor’s most influential players this season.
Bosingwa has featured in 19 league games, eight Europa League and two Turkish Cup games this season.
Trabzonspor are currently fifth in the league on 53 points just one point off a top four spot.
The Black Sea Storm take on Eskişehirspor on the road next while Başakşehir travel to Kayseri to take on relegation battlers Erciyesspor.
Bursaspor who also have a shot of breaking into the top four will take on Gaziantepspor on the weekend.
