Arsenal are reported to be plotting a move for Freiburg wonderkid Caglar Soyuncu according to the Daily Mail.

Per the source, the Gunners would have to shell out £30 million to sign the 21-year-old.

Talks are already reported to be underway and both Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Chelsea have also been linked. with the centre-back.

It turns out that the Bundesliga outfit actually want more than £30 million for the rising star.

“We received no request from Arsenal,” he told Badische Zeitung.

“You’d have to put a bit more on that.”

“We agree that Caglar should play for us in the upcoming season.”

Soyuncu does have another three-years remaining on his contract and Freiburg do not appear in a hurry to sell their star man.

The young defender joined the Bundesliga outfit on a £2 million move from PTT 1. Lig outfit Altinordu in the summer of 2016.

Soyuncu has gone onto become a first-choice centre-back for the German side despite being just 21-years-old.

The official Bundesliga website named him as being one of the stars of tomorrow.

The Freiburg starlet has one goal in 19 appearances this season playing 90 minutes in every game he has featured in except the defeat to Stuttgart – as he was sent off.
