Arsenal will be without Mesut Ozil going into the Manchester City clash in Gothenburg on Sunday as part of their pre-season Scandinavia tour.
The Gunners made light work of Viking beating the Swedish side 8-0 on Friday but they will be up against tougher opposition tomorrow.
Arsene Wenger has also decided to leave out Alexis Sanchez, Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud. Ozil has been on extended break as as Giroud due to their Euro 2016 campaign.
Ozil made it to the semi-finals with Germany while Giroud and Koscielny reached the final with France before losing to eventual winners Portugal.
Alexis Sanchez has also had a busy summer winning the Copa America with Chila in the US but he has been fast tracked back into the squad for Sunday’s clash.
Ozil is expected to be match fit before the start of the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.
