Besiktas are close to agreeing a two-year contract extension with the Canadian international midfielder Atiba Hutchinson.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Atiba is holding out for €1.5 million per season while the Black Eagles are willing to offer up to €1.1 million per season.
With the difference between the two parties standing at just €300,000, an agreement is expected to be reached before the end of the season. The Canadian international is free to enter direct talks with other clubs as his contract is set to run out at the end of the season.

Hutchinson currently earns €1 million per-season at Beşiktaş. The 32-year-old has made a total of 34 appearances for the Black Eagles in all competitions this season. Hutchinson was recently voted Canadian Men’s Player of the Year for a third time.
Beşiktaş are currently third in the Süper Lig with 65 points in 31 games.
