Besiktas – Liverpool tickets have sold out [divider]
Beşiktaş have released a statement confirming that tickets for the Europa League second-leg game against Liverpool have sold out.
The Black Eagles take on Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg at the Atatürk Olympic stadium on Thursday 26 February.
The Turkish giants released the following statement: “The capacity of the Atatürk Olympic stadium is 79,0777. 1,305 seats have been allocated to VIP and the media. 4,966 seats will remain empty for security reasons. Liverpool have been allocated 4,400 seats. 2,992 seats around the away section will remain empty. 13,856 season ticket holders will attend, 2,199 tickets have been given to sponsors and 49,359 tickets have on on general sale and have been sold out.”

Liverpool fans allocation of 4,400 tickets have also been sold out.
There will be 65,334 Beşiktaş fans and 4,400 Reds supporters expected to attend the return leg.
Liverpool won the first game 1-0 at Anfield thanks to a late penalty from Mario Balotelli.
Beşiktaş have already faced three Premier League sides this season – Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham.
The Black Eagles have not actually lost against English opposition at home this season and beat Liverpool 2-1 in Istanbul the last time the two sides met in the 2007-08 Champions League group stages.
Beşiktaş are playing at the Atatürk Olympic temporarily as the Inönü stadium is currently being rebuilt.
The new Beşiktaş stadium will have a 41903 capacity and be renamed the Vodafone Arena.
