Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse is on the radar of reigning Premier League champions Chelsea according to club sporting director Kirill Kotov.
Habertürk report Kotov saying: “We are in talks [with Chelsea] but no agreement has been reached yet and other clubs are also interested.”
The 24-year-old has himself claimed that Tottenham and Chelsea have been scouting him over the past season.
“Last season Chelsea watched four of my games and Tottenham watched six of my games and they are keeping tabs on me,” Niasse was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.
Galatasaray have of course been closely linked Niasse over the past season and were close to landing a deal last summer which fell through at the last stages.
The Senegalese international previously worked under current Galatasaray manager Hazma Hamzaoğlu while at Akhisar before his move to Russia.
Niasse is familiar with the Süper Lig, having first made a name for himself in Turkey before moving to Russia from Akhisar at the start of this season for €5 million.
The Lokomotiv striker has nine goals and five assists in all competitions for the Russian giants this season.
