Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen could spend another season on loan at Fenerbahce.
The 23-year-old joined the Yellow Canaries on loan last summer but has struggled in his first season.
Janssen has managed just 11 appearances for Fener this season mainly due to injuries. The Netherland’s international has spent the last four months on the sidelines due to a toe injury and isn’t expected back until April.
According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Fenerbahce have been impressed with Janssen’s work ethic and professionalism whilst out injured and want to keep him on for another term.
Per the source, Fenerbahce want to get the deal done early so Janssen can participate in pre-season training along with the rest of the squad.
Tottenham signed Janssen from AZ Alkmaar for £17 million back in 2016. However, the powerful striker failed to settle in at White Hart Lane and managed just two goals in 27 Premier League appearances.
Spurs are back in action this weekend when they take on their rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
