Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he is in the dark regarding Loris Karius’ proposed transfer to the Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas.
Yesterday the Mirror reported that an agreement between the Black Eagles and Liverpool had been reached regarding Karius. Per the source, Besiktas will pay Liverpool a £2.25 million fee for a two-year loan deal.
The total fee will rise to £10 million if Besiktas opt to make the deal permanent.
Following Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Monday night, Klopp was asked about reports linking Karius with an imminent exit from Anfield.
However, the German tactician stated that he has been left out of the loop and has no knowledge regarding Besiktas’ bid for Karius.
“Nothing to say,” Klopp told reporters after the game.
“Nobody told me anything on a transfer.”
